Nazarbayev University has earned its highest-ever placement in the fields of Civil Engineering and Telecommunication Engineering.

The School of Engineering and Digital Sciences, Nazarbayev University is proud to share the recently released results of the Shanghai Ranking 2025: Nazarbayev University has achieved its highest-ever placement in the fields of Civil Engineering and Telecommunication Engineering, which are ranked in the 301- 400 band.

The 2025 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) assessed around 2000 universities worldwide using rigorous criteria, including quality of education (alumni of an institution winning top global awards), quality of faculty (staff of an institution winning top global awards and highly cited researchers), research output (papers published in Nature and Science; papers indexed in science citation index-expanded and social science citation index), and per capita academic performance of an institution.
