Associate Professor Zhannat Kappassov has been recognized as a Laureate of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation Award for the Best Research and Achievements in Science and Technology.

Associate Professor Zhannat Kappassov, Head of the Tactile Robotics Lab and faculty member of the Department of Robotics at SEDS, Nazarbayev University, has been recognized as a Laureate of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation Award for the Best Research and Achievements in Science and Technology.

His award-winning project aims to develop a tactile-sensor glove for palpation, designed to enhance breast cancer diagnostics by providing objective and quantitative data. These data will be processed using newly developed Artificial Intelligence algorithms, offering a significant step forward in medical technology and precision diagnostics.
